About the Event
Experience a joyful evening of Latin jazz with the Roger Glenn Latin Jazz Ensemble, bringing together vibrant rhythms, soulful melodies and improvisational fire in an intimate cabaret setting—followed by a special Meet the Artist dessert reception.
An evening of vibrant rhythms and soulful melodies as the Roger Glenn Latin Jazz Ensemble brings the music of the Americas to the PJCC Jazz in Foster City. Led by Roger Glenn (vibraphone, flute, saxophone), the quartet features acclaimed Brazilian composer and producer Marcos Silva (piano), Robb Fisher (bass), drummer Kelly Zaban Fasman, and Michaelle Goerlitz (percussion).
Together, this stellar ensemble performs an uplifting program featuring original compositions from Roger Glenn’s recording, My Latin Heart (released in August 2025), alongside Afro-Cuban grooves, Brazilian classics and Silva originals, Argentinian tango, and beloved jazz standards. Rich in melody, rhythm, and improvisational fire, this performance offers a joyful, swinging celebration of cultures coming together.
